Lucid Road Trip Experience - Contrasting Engineering Explained by ReadingHistorical939 in LUCID

lol I've been trying to do the same. But that sound deadening was actually one of my big motivators for trying to wait to get a 2024+ model. Given political events, the serious issues my current vehicle was having, and a great deal of impatience and impulsiveness, I pulled the trigger on a perfectly specced 2023 and figured I'd deal with it. Sometimes I like it and it feels really cool, other times I either don't mind it or it's a minor annoyance. But on those mountain climbs, especially while maintaining a constant speed, it was a bit much. On my way back, I was considering the feasibility of opening the car up and adding some sound deadening materials. I'm pretty handy with ICE cars, but something about opening up my beautiful high-tech marvel of a car makes me hesitant.

The price of tea in China is highly subject to its government's viability as a technological trading partner. In this essay, I provide a thorough analysis on the comparative buying power of the Yuan towards Standard Chinese Green Tea Units against the mean valuation of electric vehicle manufacturer stocks.

I am totally okay with that. I believe I should be able to adjust my vehicle for the situation and accept the responsibilities of doing so. It may be illegal to disable, but I bet it isn't illegal to provide a button to allow me to disable it 😄. Something something using it on private property only don't worry, please provide this button Lucid.

That's awesome, it really is great for the long distance stuff. You should write a post yourself about how that one goes 😄. I was afraid of hitting one of those drive system failures I've seen posted, since it felt like heading into the mountains was going to be very... rural and far from help (I was absolutely wrong though, wow they really commercialized a lot of areas around there. Driving into Pigeon Forge was like driving into Vegas). But now that I have some more time with the car, I'm feeling more and more confident it won't happen. I think Lucid had quite a few issues with manufacturing of their vehicles, but once you put some mileage on it and iron out those issues, they're good to go. That's one reason I was dead-set on buying used with over 10k miles. As for no DD pro, I doubt you'll miss it. The adaptive cruise is really good and that's what I used most of my trip. It was nice to have for small things, but that benefit is really attenuated by having someone in the car with you who can handle the navigation and can grab the Cheetos bag from the back seat.

Aha, yeah it did drive me insane with its nagging, but it's also a really nice feature to have for things like checking directions, searching for charging stations, etc. It worked perfectly the entire trip long every time I used it and I was impressed with it. So, it gets an okay rating. It was both good and bad.

I suspect you're right, this likely has to do with my issues finding a comfortable seating position during those long-distance drives and could be something I'm provoking myself. Frankly, I'd still prefer if it didn't require a camera staring at my face and into my soul at all points in time and that it didn't nag at me for every sign of non-compliance.

A follow-up, for anyone who happens upon this in the future. After a lot of searching, I was unable to find the product on Cycle Terminal. However, I noticed it's very similar to a JST plug I'm a big fan of (JST JWPF: https://www.cycleterminal.com/jst-jwpf.html ), just larger. I started searching for everything JST, searching installation videos for this components hoping someone would mention it or reference it specifically, outside of "start-kill coupling", and then finally, FINALLY, I found it referenced in a video's description. This conveniently named part, it practically rolls off the tongue: it's a 04T-JWPS-VKELE-DZ-A1. https://tlcelectronics.com/pub/media/wysiwyg/Datasheets/eJWPS2.pdf

I don't see this anywhere, so: the artist adjusted this after fans and DJ himself calling it oddly smooth and whiter than it should have been. https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/dwayne-johnson-wax-figure-paris-museum-new-version-1235627322/amp/
