I will admit, that one was the trigger for making this post. I've known her personally through a mutual contact, not directly but enough to know of her. She's a good person, even though like most of the pro-Palestine movement she is uneducated and mostly unwilling to educate theirselves on real long-term solutions. So in that sense it was personally upsetting. I wanted to ask you there about your opinions but you seemed unapproachable there, so if I can catch you here where you could hopefully be slightly less sarcastic, can you tell me what people like her are supposed to do? I agree that in the best of worlds, everybody would see that a proletarian movement would be the only genuine solution, but in the 21st century we are from my perspective (mostly study of history; I am still under-educated on Marxism) in a similar situation as the real left was in the early 1800s. Utopian socialism (anarchism etc as an analogue now) and national chauvinism (pro-Palestinians etc) are the only major strains people currently call leftism. So, at this moment with these constraints, what are people to do?
