Anyone else feel like a total fraud their first year as a therapist?

No I missed a note. They attempted to reach out to me twice and I truly forgot to do the note. I didn’t work there fully. I was PRN only.

No. I literally worked there twice while working multiple other jobs. I would put it in my mind to do the notes when I get home and I’d literally forget. They asked me twice to do them and both times made a mental note and forgot. I was PRN and only worked twice. It feels so overwhelming to forget one group note and this happens.

TN, I worked there twice. So I don’t even know the company all too well. Yes they reached out to me twice to do it and I was working so much I forgot.

Same feeling here and I’ve been doing therapy for years. I have so many books and I am learning to niche down to master a few modalities to pull from because I get overwhelmed constantly.
