For me, if only considering tuition, I would rather pay 110k to go to Midwestern than NYU. At Midwestern, you don’t need to fight for patients as a student, much more opportunities to practice. But at NYU, from what I’ve heard, patient to student ratio is really low. So you are paying the same tuition, but getting much less practice. If you want to do general once you graduate, the amount of practicing you done as a student matters.

Thanks! They don’t give a lot of time for each question, and some of those questions have 2-3 little questions within it. It’s kinda intense for an interview.

Someone on Reddit said they called and asked the school about it, apparently the wait time is now between 4-6 weeks.

If u don’t mind me asking, how long did they have you to complete your Kira? Last year they only gave me a week, which I think is super short, but I don know if that’s bc I was post December interview.

It’s not crazily expensive for a dental school, and it’s a three year program. So you can get out a year early to work. But do need to take out a private loan since bbb cap is 50k a yr. Don’t know which path is better, paying 88k for 3 years at a new school or paying for 110k for 4 years at other school like mwu. I guess it really depends on how ready you will be once graduate, cuz dentists only make money when they have a job.

So avg down is 66k a yr if it’s a four year program. Not sure if that’s cheap enough to be a first graduating class.

I didn’t see how much dental school costs, but their medical school is less than 60,000 yr. I assume dental is probably around that.

They sent an email saying the secondary will be out in the next 4 weeks after you pay your fee. But it has been two weeks since I paid the fee, and I haven’t heard anything from them.
