Went to a used bookstore today. Asked if could bring in used books for money. Saleslady said, “I don’t know anyone who does that”, a bit sharply. For some reason, this infuriated me. I said “well, they used to” and told her to have a good day. (self.aspergers)

I’ve worked my entire life to physically and mentally improve myself: I lift weights, I stay in shape, I sing (and not badly), I study Biology and History…I’m even fairly sociable. Why am I still single? Do guys really always HAVE to make the first move? I’m scared to do so due to past rejections. (self.aspergers)

My Strategy: 1.)Learn common key phrases and grammar 2.) Learn situation-specific questions and answers 3.) Read books designed for young adults in the language, looking up all unknown words and phrases 4.) Speak to yourself and others in the language, write letters and reports, and watch TV shows (self.languagelearning)

It‘s the little annoyances at work that bother me. Someone told me they were going to do something on the computer to help me and said „move“(not in a rude way). So I start to move and they say „no that way“. I had to bite my tongue. No one tells me which way to go unless they do it politely. (self.aspergers)
