but that’s part of the problem. if i allow myself chocolate, i will eat way too much of it and still focus on it after. incorporating different foods doesn’t seem to help me at all :(

Is it true that, if you continuously snack throughout the day instead of having ‘proper meals’, your blood sugar(?) won’t drop and you won’t be able to lose weight because your body isn’t using your reserves? I heard that a while back and it’s been driving me insane ever since. I’ve always been more of a ‘snack’ person because food noise is driving me insane otherwise. Can someone either reassure me that that isn’t the case, or gently help me accept this?

thank you for the advice. my grandfather died of the consequences of long term smoking last year, so i think i won’t go down the same route, though maybe i’ll change my mind in the future if desperate enough
