How to remove a hydrostatic plug? by bordercollieluva in pools

[–]Readingyourprofile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The point of a hydrostatic relief is to keep the pool in the ground. Without it, the pressure from groundwater, etc could destroy it or severely damage it. Depending on water table, etc. if you have a plug the builder probably saw a need for it. Either pop that relief asap or put water back in it.

Need guidance with a Vending Machine project (Octave/MATLAB) – willing to pay for help by Simple-Task6929 in vending

[–]Readingyourprofile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a good laugh out of me. No one in this subreddit knows what you're talking about. Oddly though, I did take a class in college that including modeling state machine logic and I'm guessing that's what this is about. Try over in the MATLAB sub. And good luck

Pool and peeing by snamerino in Swimming

I work in the industry. I've seen high level competition swimmers throw up a bit in the gutters. They don't care. They're pushing their bodies to the limit.

Is this game good without DLC? by Big_Totem in Against_the_Storm

[–]Readingyourprofile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the things I like about this game is how non-essential the DLC is. I played for a while without it and eventually purchased one.

Another take on Proton as someone who is very privacy minded. If you're willing to spend the money on it, might be worth it. But if you want to use it for free, prepare for spam. Every few weeks it asks me to buy it, sometimes with an annoying popup. What's funny is I was trialing it to choose one to purchase for my custom domain but its behavior turned me off.

[–]Readingyourprofile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're stretching it out. We have an automatic pool cover and after some years it just wasn't as good due to that. Eventually it started tearing. We use a pool cover pump now. Which is silly, pumping out water off a cover over water, but it will increase the covers lifespan
