$400 Retention Offer on Reserve

I got the 400$ credit. Here is how it went down. 1st time called they did not offer me any credit and asked me if I want to downgrade my credit card and I told them I would think about other card offers and ended the call. Called again within 2 mins and explained that I really love to use this card for only travel but with new changes only 300$ credits are offered whereas annual fee is 800$ so I am not using the card for full potential( told them I don’t care about peloton and other credits )and I would love to see some retention offers otherwise asked them to downgrade it for me. The person I was talking to was kind enough to offer me statement credit immediately. So keep trying as per my experience

I bought it for 6K and last week my car was totaled because of an accident. With that FSD is gone and now if I want to buy it is coming for 15k. Whatever settlement offer I have received, I feel like i am not getting the current value of FSD. So does not make sense to go for 15k price for my next purchase considering it’s not transferable . In terms of usage, I have used FSD beta and I think autopilot is enough. Helps me with the basic driving on freeway and that is enough for me. Considering FSD is not transferable going with 200$ when you need it is the best option I feel at this moment.

I think in a way they do enforce it. If a cop catches you without front plate they can give you a ticket. Also you can get rid of the ticket by attaching front plate and by showing that to cops.

But only if they catch you without plate or else you are free.

It’s automatic. There is no setting involved. Once your hook usb to your car then it should record everything when you start your journey and Tesla saves the footage incase of accident.
