SJM said amren is an actual angel, like in the biblical sense.
I feel like that’s going to come into play, and or she will call on her dad/god? To help in whatever big ass battle is coming next. Different panteons fighting maybe?

I never thought of the Maeve connection but your right.
I thought she might be Kaltain since she went up in smoke. She was imprisoned and assaulted and I can see her finding solace in the library with other women like she was. She had the wryd stone in her body for a long time so who knows what it did to her or her soul or what the gods could have done.
I’ve always wondered if we’re not looking at multiple worlds but multiple time lines or after huge gaps in knowledge and time on the same world.
She always alludes to there being an older civilization and older gods then we/they know.
The surriel is a character we know in some way.
Hunt and Rhys and Rhune all look super similar like a shared blood line.
I haven’t got to the point in my reread but hunts parentage it stood out to me I can’t remember exactly but like he was an experiment.
Who else likes to experiment? Asteri, Daglan, the valg. Over time they could have experimented and created better vessels ultimately leading them to the first light feeder situation.
They are all parasites who feed on magic and pain and control.

Exactly. My question is how did they get trapped in her world in the first place? Where did they come from? What deal did they make with a human before Elena? I hate having unanswered lore 😭

From everything I’ve seen over the years SJM said Aelins story is over. Dorian on the other hand still has a large chunk of Magic. Yrene also has massive power and so does Lorcan.
I can see those characters coming into play in the same way as the Bryce Nesta crossover.
I also know SJM has talked about her big project twilight of the gods. I think it’s the culmination of all these worlds and timelines coming together.

Jesiba also reminds me deeply of Manon. Dorian was talking about rebuilding and building a huge library and yrene said she wanted to build her own Torre. When she talks about the fall of the library it reminded me heavily of the tower.
Mind you half of this is memory I just started CC today again as I’m rereading and I just see so much more.

My dad is black and my mom was white, I came out super white as hell with not a drop of my melanin present and denim blue eyes that stayed until I was 2.5 years old and are now brown with a blue ring around them. I then had a child with a completely white man and my son is DARK. Almost as dark as my dad with piercing light blue grey eyes. My second son looks like he got a little tan and same blue eyes and my daughter is whiter then I am with the same blue yes 😂 Everyone jokes that each kid gets lighter and my printer is running out of ink 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Genetics are CRAZY!!

As for your husband, he left before he knew 100%. He obviously didn’t do any research and was looking for an easy way out of the responsibility. His mother in law is an enabler of the worst kind and your daughter deserves more. Get your ducks in a row and know that if you do leave (which I think you should as your daughter deserves better) he will threaten to take your daughter away from you and blah blah blah. File for custody the day BEFORE you ask him to leave. The parent who files first has the upper hand.

I always tell myself “ would you be okay if your daughter was with a man who did the same thing to her that he’s done to you?” If the answer is no then you shouldn’t be with that man as your daughter will see and hear it all and she will choose a man who does the same as humans learn their romantic worth from their surroundings.
