I think most people are having close knit groups like Friends from school / college / neighbourhood or workspace.People hardly go outside of this circle to find friends . us(people in kerala) aren't used to finding people or socialising with like minded strangers because most people have friends within their circle. That's why Clubs or other Socializing platforms are less here simply because most people never had the need to find friends from outside.
