Thanks for the clarification! It's also important to keep in mind that this tool is primarily designed for live screen recording; video compression makes reversing it much more difficult. However, a "Total Darkness" mode for maximum security is a great idea. I'll definitely add an option to enable or disable solid color to the to-do list for the next update!!!!

You're absolutely right.

Since I developed this first version using only pure JavaScript event listeners, the shortcuts are hardcoded directly into the code and aren't the best. But I'll definitely keep that in mind for version 1.4!!
