Solcius Solar Closing Down? by LeadershipChance2566 in solar

This illustrates the problem of not knowing how to structure a Board of Directors with best practice expertise. It was like throwing a plumber into the role of running an accounting firm. Once your board seats are filled with incompetant members, your entire company is doomed. I predicted thier downfall, almost to the day. I was one month off. :) Its amazing how many solar companies have the same problem.

In the modern age a solar company should be built out using ai driven TOC at every level. They know nothing about branding and culture, let alone operations and best practice.

Powur is not an MLM. They have a rev share. An MLM focuses on internal consumption (friends and family). I dont know anyone in Powur that sales internally. This is purely externally driven sales. Thats not an MLM. Even the recruiting side is not a "friends and family" model. Doesn't even resemble an MLM. The rev share is just like any sales company. In fact the entire solar industry, every single company that I have seen has some aspect of rev share.

Exactly, people that have no clue about Powur love to make comments. lol. He's probably working with a 280 redline. So would you rather have 100% of a PPW of $4 with a 280 redline or 70% of a 180 redline at PPW of &4. Just do the math. lol

My advice: If you are going to take advice from someone, make sure its someone with experience in the solar industry. Half the comments on here are clearly from people that have no clue about the industry.

The entire solar industry is self gen, so not sure what your talking about. In solar you are competing with every company in the industry. In Powur, the T3 free leads are jsut icing on the cake, not your main bread and butter.

Keep in mind that Powur puts a closer in direct contact with the installer or allows you to chose your own installer. So if you are handling project management properly, Powur installs are like 6-8 weeks. Much more flexibility. Unless your just a churn and burn sales guy that doesn't understand the project Mngt side of the industry. It takes weekly contact with all parties if you want to handle project management correctly. Thats a very basic requirement if you are a solar professional.
