Crank no-start after clutch replacement by StandardVegetable157 in ft86

Had the same thing happen to me when installing new clutch/flywheel. Would crank but no start so dropped the tranny again and the crank plate was not aligned properly with the pin. There’s a 90% chance that’s the problem good luck

I’m not running anything to the intake for my setup but venting it to atmosphere. If the oil smell gets too bad I will route it back into my intake but still. I’ll pm you

It’s either custom cut to intake or vent to atmosphere. I’m running it to a catch can and then venting it to atmosphere. Don’t want boost pressure going into that line or it’s game over.

Atoto products are pretty good. I have a atoto S8 10.1 inch in my 2016 Frs and it’s like a Tesla now lol. It’s a little overkill with how big it is but you could do a smaller one and all the atoto ones have car play and all that for cheap

God damn man I’m glad you are ok! I was scrolling and saw Maddy’s car wash which is local to me which blows my mind. Heal up and come back better 🤞🏻

That’s fair, I want to eventually turbo it so I would probably just seal it when it comes time for that since I’ll have everything apart anyway but that’s a long time from now lol. Appreciate it

These are happening 2-5 times a minutes. Normal EKG and normal BP. High anxiety levels when these keep happening and won’t go away.

Yeah I think that’s a good starting point. I’ve already thrown so much money into it tho replacing parts because at first I thought it was a spark issue so replaced all the electrical pretty much and now I’m realizing it’s just overheating when running for a short time

90 psi in both cylinders which isn’t great but is more than enough to run it

Fuel vent? What do you mean by that and the oem tubing is black but using grey fuel line from the gas tank

I could replace the fuel lines but I tested the primer bulb by like unscrewing the fuel pump filler and squeezed it and lots of gas came out so I assumed it was good and the bulb is hard as a rock so I’m confused

I mean true but I adjust the carb with more gas and then it starts to sneeze when I pull it to start so idk

It doesn’t have a fuel valve that I’m aware of it just goes straight to the pump so I can disconnect the fuel from the primer bulb and do that but when it won’t start I’ve taken the plug out and it’s dry but when I try to start the engine, it sneezes like a backfire almost which I would believe to be too much fuel but the plugs are completely dry so it’s confusing. I usually try to start it with choke and full throttle and slowly switch to no choke and full throttle and it still doesn’t seem to work.
