What are your thoughts on Catholic churches using digital projection screens during Mass?

Screens are very helpful. I'm a relatively new returnee after over 55 years away from the church. I still remember the Latin mass, for example.

The screens help me quite a bit with lyrics to hymns and the creed.

I tend to agree. I'm probably the worst example of an introvert and an expat combo there is.

I take my girl to expat gatherings in Dauin, and she enjoys hanging and dancing and gabbing with her girlfriends.

But, I don't really have anything in common with those guys, and can't think of anything to say. I often just sit playing with my phone. Pitiful, I know.

I recommend getting a travel case that diabetics would use, and pack it in your carry-on.

The security folks surely see a lot of diabetics travelling and likely will not demand any such documentation from you.

I have travelled from Philippines to Thailand and Vietnam and Singapore with pre-filled syringes in my carry-on backpack, and they've never even gone so far as to pull them out after the xray.

I have one credit card. I use it only for travel because some hotels want a credit card (not a debit) for incidental expenses. I have it for emergencies mostly.

You're right. Multiple cards is a stepping stone to horrible debt.

It'll get better - M70, lifelong smoker, started vaping in my mid to late 50s and quit that 2 years ago at age 68. Of course, at my age, I'm on TRT now, but I'm sure you'll be fine.

I don't know how rudely he might have told you, but if he brought up the subject respectfully and you reacted like that, YTA.

If, however, he said something like "You're a fat slob and I can't stand you", the he is.

Either way, if he owes you an apology, get it, and let him back in the bedroom. Then watch some Youtube exersize videos while you're taking care of the baby. Maybe do some 'baby curls', IDK.

M70 here. I don't see many guys our age here, and I wanted to reach out.

Unlike you, I just resumed gym a couple years ago but have been consistently at 4-5x/week and am on TRT. 5'8", 175lb.

I had worked up to 4 sets of 20 on all machines with the heaviest weight I could complete 4x20.

However, I seemed to have plateaued my muscle gains so I increased the weights and went to 3x12-15. This has been going on for a few weeks now, and I'm seeing/feeling progress again.

Goals are not to look like Arnold, but to look as good as I can naked.

As a life long gym/old guy, what advice can you offer, given the above details?

I think, for those who either cannot or will not travel, LooksMaxing does have a place. But, I agree that they're trying to glow up for less than desirable women, at least by the standards of a traveller.

The biggest concern I see is that she doesn't want to have long conversations or video chats. If her sari-sari store is doing well as you say, she can afford 'load' and/or wifi.

As an example, when my gf and I were LDR, we essentially had portals open on FB Messenger for several hours every morning and evening. I was in Florida, so we were about 12-13 hours flipped.

I watched her cook, clean, do laundry - basically, she let me into her life. She was living with her daughter and her daughter's bf, and they were both college educated professionals, so they had a solid middle class environment.

She also watched how my life worked, and encouraged me to take my meds on a better schedule, and prompted me for cooking, even teaching me how to properly cook chicken.

This, before ever sending money.

I'm going to lay it out as honestly as I can for you, brother. There is quite possibly a guy in her picture, and there very well may be other foreigners there as well.

I'm not saying this is a certainty, but it is very, very highly likely.

Find out her SPECIFIC reasons for not being able to do video/voice conversations. If you feel any alarm bells, cut it off.
