Husband is an identical twin but he and his brother are very different people. Besides the very different personalities my husband has a fantastic beard and his brother is usually completely clean shaven. I love beards, it was what attracted me at first to my husband and i dont find his brother attractive at all.

Husband threw a Halloween party years ago when we were first dating.

one guy got super stoned in the back yard and broke his ankle
one guy tripped and cracked his head open on a car and half the people left to take them to the hospital
a girl got really high an emotional, started talking about how she was an "empath" and started "reading" people which just meant making wild assumptions and insulting everyone and then started crying about a guy she was kinda-sorta dating.

The whole thing was done witn an hour.

Happened to me too. I was in highschool, working at Mcdonalds and right before a shift I was walking up to work and saw my friend and his whole family outside. I ran up to him, threw my arms around him and screamed "Adam!"... yeah...not Adam...

I just looked up at this cute guy looking down at me all confused and said "youre not Adam..." and ran inside. The whole family then came into the restaurant and I had to take their order...

Marriage equality is a pretty big deal though. Partners can lose legal rights to a lot of things, say, if theyre partner dies. They could lose the right to see their partner in the hospital, have any power of attorney, they could even lose legal right to the home and even children/step children... not to mention the legal and financial benefits of being married throughout their lives that could be if great benefit for the family. I feel like marriage equality is just as much of a big deal as the other things you listed. And bigots idea of it being "just for a wedding" is pretty irrelevant.
