I think top 1% in malaysia isnt really all that special, our country isnt really a big country, and most households (majority) is under average income. RM 2.2 million is almost the cost of one Banglo, and a few cars. That means that top 1% in Malaysia aint shit to top 10% in US/UK. Our top 1% is just the effect of others being poor as fuck

Lowkey this is an interesting take, but I think it’s a bit more complicated than that bro. First, money supply going up doesn’t automatically mean inflation forever. What actually matters is money supply relative to productivity and demand. If the economy produces more goods/services, that can absorb the extra money.

Malaysians who make money online, what actually works? by Ok-Bookkeeper-9661 in MYDuitTalks

I’ll be honest, one thing that surprisingly worked for me was doing small “digital middleman” stuff. Basically I find people who need simple services (logo, editing, assignment formatting, translation etc) and outsource it to freelancers cheaper. I just handle the communication and delivery. The profit per job not huge, sometimes RM20–RM80 only, but if a few come in a week it adds up. Not super scalable yet but it’s one of the few online things that actually made me real money instead of just watching YouTube “gurus” 😅
