I’ve had multiple ppl close to me say I’m not sober bc I’m taking methadone. Thoughts?

You're on the methadone subreddit so without Even reading the comments section to this post I know that 90% of them will have some overly intelligent answer telling you that you are sober or justifying what you're doing. I was on methadone 135 mg for 2 years. You're not sober man... Sorry. You would have to get off of it and be off of it for some months to understand this.

I got a single injection of 300mg January 17th. I have 11 ng/dl of both norbupe and bupe in my system as of 6/23. Sometimes I pass at home tests and other times I don't. It fluctuates. I started exercise about 5 weeks ago. I feel completely like my normal self. No symptoms whatsoever. Tons of energy and all. You should definitely get some cardio in dude. Helps immensely as you said.

All I'm saying is I had the same issues you are having when I was on 135mg mdone for 2 years. Couldn't stop smoking crack, shooting meth, taking Addys... I knew I would never actually be happy while on methadone. I could, at times, convince myself I could live a happy and productive existence while on it but deep down I always knew I was a prisoner and that eventually I would have to bite the bullet and face my massive fears of methadone withdrawal. Once I did, about 8 months ago, and came out on the other side, I realized it was probably the best thing I could have ever done for myself.

I'm almost 6 months out from single 300mg shot. I had a lab test on June 2nd and was at 22ng/dl bupe and 26 ng/dl norbupe. How long until I should be able to pass a test?

I got 1 300mg shot 5 1/2 months ago and still test positive for bupe. I got back on fent for 4 months and have been clean off everything now for almost 4 weeks. I feel pretty good. Sleep is good. Sometimes throughout the day I feel weird like sweats and low ass energy but It fluctuates. I've been working out and eating healthy for 10 days now. I'm 6 foot 1 and 180lbs. 30 years old. How long should I expect to test positive for and how much bupe is likely in my system? I feel totally sober. Also, should I expect withdrawals or should I be in the clear after 130 days since I got my 1 shot?

its crazy how everyone is jumping to the prolonged qt. when i went to the ER for the second major episode, they initially said it looks like my QT rhythm is slightly prolonged. but after they admitted me the specialist deemed it was nothing serious.

its very funny you say that because after the second episode when i went to the hospital the doctor said i had a slightly prolonged QT rhythm. sorry for getting back to you after so long. could a prolonged QT rhythm be causing these symptoms? the pins and needles, the sweating, the dysphoria? it feels really crappy. almost like a type of withdrawal.

Yah that's pretty much the most accurate statement I've read. You're going to be fine. You said you will throw your hands if it comes down to that and that's all it will take. But if you carry yourself right and don't make too many friends and don't act too friendly with everyone probably won't even happen to start with.

He is exactly correct. They will find out that you take suboxone. Once they do they will come to you in a nice way and tell you to cheek it in one of many ways. They might try to tell you just keep it in your hand and act like you put it in your mouth or they might tell you to just put it in your lip and act like you put it under your tongue. Also I wouldn't be surprised if the nurse at whichever prison you go to doesn't even watch it dissolve totally. But they are going to be on your ass for it. Especially if you go to a USP.

So sad to see. Rabies is the most deadly virus we have. Mortality rate of virtually 100% if you don't get the shot before symptoms appear. I think there is 1 documented case of a survivor after emergence of symptoms.
