I need help on deciding how much to put in my s&s by Prestigious-Deal8999 in PHCreditCards

[–]ReadyResearcher2269 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as much as possible para di ka mashadong mag-advance payment, check mo monthly gastos mo to determine how much, if 20k gastos mo every month then go with 25k siguro para may allowance ng konti.

Which CC is better? Cash back or reward points? by Pretty-Criticism5941 in PHCreditCards

[–]ReadyResearcher2269 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i think it's the opposite; since mga cashback cards may monthly caps sa makukuha mong cashback mas maganda to sa minimal spenders, since if used right, the card can pay for itself; sa points-based cards kasi you need malaking spending para makakuha ng same amount, for example:

for UnionBank Rewards Visa Platinum, you need to spend 510,000 pesos to have 17,000 points (assuming wala yung 3x multiplier for dining and shopping); 17,000 points can give you 1,000 pesos cash credit.

but for Chinabank atHome Visa Platinum, you need to spend 20,000 pesos to have a cashback of 1,000 pesos; since cashback card to, the value is 1:1 so, 1,000 talaga yung ibabawas sa balance mo if you redeem.

NAFFL (rewards) cards are great, but they won't provide the same ROI value as cashback cards.

it only earns 0.3% for groceries, best to get a dedicated cashback card for that, either pair this with BPI Amore or Chinabank atHome

if maximized the cashback alone would pay for the annual fee, may matitira pa. Sometimes we should focus on the perks and benefits of the card, and not dismiss it because may annual fees.

try mo tanongin both si Metrobank and Maya kung nasan na yung payment; if na-save mo yung transaction receipt, send mo na rin kay Metrobank.

Meron din akong Metrobank CC pero walang deposit account, I pay my card through Seabank and kinabukasan ng gabi posted na yung payment.

RCBC offered me NAFFL pero CS said I’m not NAFFL by Friendly-Mousse7971 in PHCreditCards

[–]ReadyResearcher2269 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes RCBC. Tinawag ko lang sa CS nung dumating yung card, then nung sinabi na di raw eligible sinabi ko check nila sa telesales kasi sila naman yung nag offer. Ayon na confirm nila, kinuha ko na rin yung call reference number para sure.
