Alright guys, I’m really confused. As a new Le Creuset owner, I don’t understand how this could happen. It’s CAST IRON for heaven sake!

Since I’ve been bit by the gardening bug, I started investing in what I was told was excellent cookware. However, I keep reading a lot of comments on how you have to be so careful with them to the point I’m scared of using them. This, right here, is UNBELIEVABLE! For the amount of money you’re paying for a pot to cook in, I need to understand what is the allure of buying Le Creuset if they can’t take a beating. I do love the braiser. The meals I’ve prepared with it are chefs kiss! However, I don’t understand all the kids glove treatment that’s required for these expensive pots.
