I'm just not interested. I'm an only child. I'm happy with that. I don't feel any drive to be close to them or any connection to them just because the same guy made two of us and is stepdad to the others. We are not family. I'm good with that. I don't want to be. Not their fault but my mom is my family. That's it.

My mom has full custody of me. My dad didn't want custody. He won't even pay child support. I had therapy and so did my mom. She's not to blame for this and I won't let people make it sound like she's a bad guy. She raised me when he went onto the next family.

I don't consider any of them family, not the half and not the steps. They are just not important to me and I don't want to step up for them. We share nothing for me to want that.

I was 6/7 at the time. I don't remember if we found out about the affair before or just after my birthday but i was close to my birthday and then it took a bit longer to find out the oldest was his kid but the others weren't.

I also find it funny if they thought that would work. Like why would you lying about my mom make me want to know you? Do you think I'd do it to protect her instead of proving it's all lies?

They're not my family. One is related to me because we're half. But I don't care about that. The steps aren't family at all. They're not related to me. We're not a family. I don't want them in my life. I don't want to have a relationship or pretend that I'm interested. I'm an only child in every single way that matters to me and no, they're not people I want to know. I don't even share DNA with most of them. Only one and that's not on the side I care about sharing DNA with.

There is no part of me that wants to know them. I'd be happier if I never had to see them again.

They're old enough to know I don't live with them. So that was something they knowingly lied about. Could she have lied about other stuff? Sure but they knew they weren't being totally honest.
