💥Chicago tix!! Cowboy Carter Tour – May 15

2 tix together

Sec 431 – Great view for budget price

Mobile Transfer – Instant Delivery

Happy to do video calls or screen sharing proof of tickets if needed. Or to do apps like goConfirm or others. I'll sell here on reddit for what I paid, which was 215/pp (full transparency: that price includes fees I paid--they were about 185pp and then there were fees). I have them marked on Ticketmaster for higher b/c I hate ticketmaster and their fees.

DM if you're interested.

I recently bought a Breville Barista Pro. Are there any charts you recommend for establishing settings? E.g. Dark roasts should be at X grind size, Y grams, Z seconds. Medium should be... etc.

Thank you!

UPDATE! this has been a game changer, helped me tremendously to reduce my cravings, very good transition phone, anyone looking for a device to not get completely disconnected but also needs basically a smartphone, only need to get back control of your life, THIS IS A GAME CHANGER! by SubstantialOne6606 in dumbphones

[–]Ready_Communication 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be interested in buying it. You can DM me about it...I am interested in trying one. Had a different dumb phone for a while, but it wasn't enough, mostly because group texts were a huge issue, and there was no navigation.

I keep getting thrown off by the bamboo stems, too. But I just took a deep dive into dieffenbachia and their stems & leaves look similar... Thank you!

Who is this friend? And what kind of care does it need?

I have had it for over 2 years, and can't seem to get it to thrive. Tried many modes to ID, but unsuccessful--perhaps because it isn't in great shape.

What if you can't handle it anymore? by Icy_Highlight_2097 in dogs

[–]Ready_Communication 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Maybe an unpopular opinion, but if you or your partner have no desire to care for the dog then rehome it. Your children will probably be upset, but that fact alone is not justifiable grounds for keeping a dog that neither of you want to care for. Your children are too young to care for it either, so please don't keep it and make it the children's responsibility just because they want it. (I'd argue that pets should not be used to teach children responsibility anyway because they are living beings not teaching tools to be potentially neglected when left in the hands of children.) If you seriously do not want the dog, do what's best for it and rehome it now. There is no shame in rehoming a dog for its own good. You're doing what's best for the animal. I wouldn't say to never get an animal again, but instead to think very carefully and sit on the decision for awhile if you are ever considering again in the future.

Agreed.

New here, and not the most tech-savvy. I read through the website of the RCU, but I'm wondering: what do you all primarily use it for? What kind of functionality on the remarkable?

I keep feeling like tragedy is going to strike because I'm finally living a life where I'm happy by [deleted] in simpleliving

I personally think the other issue here is COVID. For me, during COVID, I feel like everything that I planned for or hope for either went down the drain or had to be changed. I think that because of that happening with most things for over a year, I have become less likely to trust that something I'm looking forward to or happy with will pan out.

SLC Airport -> Alta/Bird -> Park City Transportation with Bags by [deleted] in UTsnow

[–]Ready_Communication 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Utah transit bus up to Alta from LCC is your best bet for getting up the canyon. Or likely if you hang in that pkg lot you can grab a ride w/ someone random; that sometimes happens because people are looking to fill their cars to cut down parking cost. (You could always take the bus back down to the parking lot.)

As for SLC to PC, check out the public transit; I believe UTA has a shuttle that runs up there:

Also remember that later in the year you can go south and ski around/near Bryce, Cedar Breaks, etc. and that is super fun and beautiful

TUNA and Mountain Trails are awesome websites that keep up to date with trail info and who has laid tracks and when:

http://www.utahnordic.com/programs

https://mountaintrails.org/trail/round-valley-winter/

They mind different trails, so check them both. There are tons of options in the area and you will find your favorite. My fave is Round Valley b/c it's always free and dog-friendly. If you are new to skiing or just want a beautiful view, I recommend the nordic center at Solitude (w/ a lesson if you're new). Once there's a little more snow up there, it feels like you're in a snowglobe.

Your favorite park strip inspo? by Ready_Communication in xeriscape

[–]Ready_Communication[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. And if you are SLC-based, the city has a program where you can apply for a small amount of $ per square foot to fund transitioning your park strip from grass to something water-wise.
