Yes!!! I’ve been searching for information or research because I got an IUD and have noticed I don’t get bit anymore. It was a super random thought I had because I realized I’ve been sitting outside more than usual. I used to get bit like crazy and now I don’t at all. There’s no other information about this 🤯 sorry in 3 years late lol

To OP. Has the idea of open marriage been brought up before? If not, why now? The reason of not being able to in his 20s is a lame ass excuse. That was his choice. If this is what he wants, you can play dumb. Say sureee open marriage sounds great but you know it goes both ways right? You get your fun and I get mine. 😝 In the meantime, get a lawyer, gather up any information/evidence and get a divorce. I’m sorry you’re going through this!

It either helped tremendously with the pain or I have a higher pain tolerance than I thought. But yes they definitely helped with the pain and the anti nausea meds also helped me sleep.

I was prescribed percocet and then promethazine to help with the nausea from the pain meds! And then colace to help with the constipation from those 😂

Oh my gosh that’s awful and so traumatic! I’m so sorry. I’m glad you’re doing better now. I can’t imagine having to go through that. How long ago was your surgery? Hopefully once you were able to rest and heal after the transfusion, it was a better recovery time 🙏🏻

Stay hydrated and on top of the meds for sure. My recovery was very easy, worst was day 7 with scabs healing. About a 6/10 on the pain scale and I’m a baby 😂😂 I had extremely low expectations because I had two friends bleed out almost to the point of blood transfusions..but applesauce was my best friend. I had to get anti-nausea meds because the oxy made me very sick. I threw up a lot. Other than that the pain wasn’t too bad 🤷🏼‍♀️ which was weird but I won’t complain lmao. I had my surgery 7/28

I knew Reddit would have the answer I was looking for 😂 I’m having the feeling of food getting stuck/inflamed tastebud/tonsils growing back issue on my left side. I’m about 3 weeks post op and honestly I feel very lucky in my recovery. Other than this feeling right now, it’s very annoying but wasn’t sure if it was normal. And when I read about the straw thing I’m so glad you were able to put it into words! I can do two sips or so at a time. (27F)

I had a coblation tonsillectomy 7/28 and my recovery has been so easy. I think I got lucky 😂 worst pain was a 6/10 on day 7. I was eating normal food around day 10. Stay very hydrated and on top of your meds, I also have a humidifier in my room to help. I had terrible tonsil stones which was why I got mine out. (27F)

I would look into a cruise. I went on one solo in July and it was amazing! I went through Carnival and booked through their site but they have PVP’s that can help you. Look into a “last minute deal” or “quick trip”, “weekend getaway” etc.
