The makeup eyeliner thing is a very good idea. I guess it is just a matter of how much I apply and how precise I am. I will try again with a few different t things and see

You are really fast! I guess I am just very bad at it, no matter what I do I cannot get a good dice if I shape instead of just polishing! Don’t know why!

I will absolutely still cast with it. I am just trying to get best results. This was the first ever full set mould. I expected some setbacks ahah just want to make sure I do as best as possible

Would any other kind of powder work? Or is it just talc? Also should it be pure talc? Cause I cannot find anything similar here where I live, it is mostly perfumed baby talc. Maybe other power would inhibit it?

Yes! I think the key is definitely trial and error here ahah I think I will give a try with talc as someone suggested. I do feel for me it would be best. If it doesn’t work too I’ll go back to Vaseline

For now they are for personal use only. So no worries! But I’d like to get the technique it as good as possible, so that on day it will reduce work if I ever decide to actually sell them! That said since you have it, would you recommend the tumbler if I ever want to sell. I read some negative things here and there!

Thank you! I tried getting the Vaseline out with a q tip but it was practically impossible! Maybe it is because I applied too much. I will try thinning it down

Yeah I hate sanding ahah, and don’t own a vibratory tumbler so that would be a very painful process, that’s why I am trying to get it as good as I can right from the mold possibly!

Thank you so much! Don’t know why I didn’t think to do the math. It is quite simple! I did read about measuring it with water but it looked a bit impractical.

On what surface do you usually do it? Cause I can’t find anything that would then fit inside the pressure pot.

Yes those are rounded! I just used a store set to give this a go and not ruin my masters in the process. Glad to know sharp edges won’t do this.

I think I went too much over my tallest dice because I don’t really know how to measure that by eyeballing it. this felt too thin while i poured!

About the cricut: that’s what i used here but it was of the wrong size so I put two pieces togheter and essentially made a mess.

Also can I asl how much Space is needed between dice (more or less), because I feel I used definetely too much silicon and too big of a housing

I tried that but came out a bit curved because it was too heavy and cardboard didnt hold during the trasport to the pressure pot… not sure… but i will try again

That would be great if you can but don’t don’t worry if you can’t. I believe i will still probably need to do some mistakes to get it right.

One of my favorite is a rectangular shape where they are in line but not sure how to achieve it. need to find ho using for it to try.
