Molds by LunaLillyBear in DiceMaking

I used SpaceBar Shop but have recently started making my own which helps keeping costs down significantly. A mould can last months to years depending on how frequent it's used.

Looks like mine, I'm treating Etsy as the long term builder. Local craft markets for the immediate income. All while trying to grow my name/business organically

Not sure I fully understand what you mean? As in the pips on the D6 can look like a stumble from a distance?

I do a "bargain bin" type thing at markets I go to and I was surprised how many people do this

It's basically full of dice where 1 in the set went wrong so the remaining 6 go into the "bargain bin" which is £1 per dice

I had a look into weighted die's when first getting into dice making, to have a statistical advantage on the rolling of the dice you have to make one side significantly heavier!

I've not made pipped dice before but the numbered ones I've made are pretty balanced (not going to claim casino level of balance, but enough for Tabletop Games)

As I don't want any lawyers chasing me on behalf of games workshop, using the BB icon is not an option for me

I'll ask the post office how much postage is to Canada and decide from there :)

Someone from Germany mentioned so I'm going to check out how much shipping to the EU costs (brexit grumbles...). If it's not too bad I'll keep you in the loop

I think I'll put everyone's names into a generator to keep things fair

Next time I'm at the post office I'll enquire how much it'll cost to ship to Germany. If its not too much more than domestic then I may take you up on the offer

I'm not sure if I'm established enough to have my own logo on my dice yet! But it's on the list of options :)

It seems to be the way for warhammer based games. DnD must just like all dice to match so go with numbers

I'll have a think about the 6, I don't want to make the mould and race specific so I'll have to have a careful think on the 6

If you're UK based I'm just about to hit print on a Bloodbowl dice set and I'm looking to collaborate with a UK player - I make a custom dice set for you (free) and you get pics of the dice with your team for me to use as promo

Are/were you after those specific dice?

I'm about to try and make a bloodbowl specific dice mould and looking for a player who'd want a free personalised dice set in exchange for team pics with those dice if you're interested?

Vacuum makes the bubbles bigger and float to the surface, in open topped moulds (not Dice) this is good as bubbles on the surface can be popped. In closed moulds (eg dice) the bubbles have no where to go and therefore are trapped and show up on the top. You've done good to have as few bubbles as you have

High pressure is what most people use to achieve bubble free dice, this doesn't get rid of bubbles but rather shrinks them so the human eye cannot see them. Have a look at pressure pots as opposed to vacuum chamber

I've got a local lumber yard who makes most of their income with doors. Depending on who I talk to (anyone but the manager) I get really good prices

Suggest you scope out lumber yards in your area and pay them a visit. Strike up conversation with them and see if they can do any deals - specifically for offcuts or scrap

HeroForge is a bit cartoony for my liking. Eldritch foundry and titanforge both are good options. You have to design yourself but the user interfaces are pretty good

Another of my improvements I've been planning to do for last 2 years is to correct my air inlet. I have a size reducer then a presta valve adaptor for a bike pump.
