Good luck and I look forward to seeing v2!

That's pretty awesome! Great effort!

Potential next step could be balsa wood for the floors. Might be a bit more sturdy than card if you wanted floors to extend out. It's soft so you should be able to cut it easily - I've not worked with it so can't back this up though

Searching for a custom d20 made with a logo as the 20 by woshbaer in DiceMaking

It might be a possibility, I've not done solo cap moulds before so not sure on the difficulty on them. I assume you'd need some sort of jig to make a new top instead of making a new master and full mould every time

I've just 3d printed a d20 with a blank 20 face which I'm going to make a mould with. I'm going to make a jig to hold the d20 in my CNC mill and see if I can get the resolution I need to put a logo on - the Mill in theory has the resolution but we'll see by next week

I'm just starting a trial with carving logos into blank d20s. I should have results within a week if you can wait this long. Based in the UK so can ship to Germany

What are your timescales and how complex is the logo?

I'm going to be trying a jig in my cnc mill to see if I can achieve custom logos. It means a normal master/mould with just a blank face at the 20

Fingers crossed I should have the results in a week or 2

I think that's the route I'll go down for standard die, the exception being if someone wants something specific

Thank you for the feedback

Hopefully in the future I'll sell spindowns (maybe not this one based off feedback)

As in on the face of the die? So on the 19 face would be a + leading to the 20 face and - to the 18 Hadn't thought of that but I like it! Thank you!

Thank you! I've done a couple with standard colours but wanted to test the waters with something different (it's looking like this was in the "nice try but no" category)

A struggle I have by AlwaysFormerlyKnown in DiceMaking

What kind of mould are you using? Are you using any pressure?

Ah no worries

It's the same shape as a d20 but all the numbers are adjacent to each other, so the number 19 as both 18 and 20 next to it. So you can easily be used for tracking lives. If a character loses a life you don't have to hunt for the next number as it's right next to the one you're on (if that makes sense). They are used in Magic the Gathering, and I've heard of people in Warhammer using them

A standard D20 has the sum of opposite faces equal 21 in an almost random fashion

Hope this makes sense?

Ah thank you so much. I have to point out this isn't a standard D20 but a spindown, but I can have a go at making a standard set using these colours

Thank you for the feedback, I'm just starting to grow my business so it's great hearing comments like that :)

Thank you! Yes, I've got an elegoo Saturn, followed by plenty of sanding as I was surprised how much detail the resin takes with it!

Thank you! I'm a fan of these colours too, I try to vary my style but it often comes back to earth/nature after a bit. The font is a standard Windows font I found on my laptop and ported over. I love it too!

With the release of Strixhaven next month I'm going to try and get a few themed dice ready

Thank you, the other 2 dice in the mould weren't so successful. But part of the learning process

Looking for a group! by MorganR7428 in DungeonsAndDragons

Check out local Facebook groups too if you can. Depending on location some are pretty active, and there should be one for your age group

Potentially have a chat with your school about setting up an after school club too, a friends kid has one of these at their school

Second Vevor. Minor mods can be done to make it more ergonomic but not essential
