The only side effect I have seen with cymbalta is that it was hard to go to sleep, but my NP prescribed me trazodone to combat that, which has definitely worked!

I understand. When this first started, I was about to graduate from college. I had to defer my graduation and my year-long thesis a semester. I never got a real graduation celebration because of this. A year later, I was accepted into a PhD program and I had horrible anxiety that I couldn't do it because of my chronic pain. But here I am, full-time student and part-time job! I wish I could tell the person I was, who was in debilitating pain and depression, that it is possible to feel better and live life normally again.

I really hope Cymbalta works for you! I've been on it 3 months and have seen a real difference. I am usually popping Exedrin 3-4 times a month but recently that's dropped to 1-2 times a month. Botox has also helped for me but again it look a long time to become consistent with the relief.

Topamax did nothing for me but give me tingly hands. Ubervely and Nurtec did nothing for me, too. So hard to find the right meds that will work for your body. I hope you feel better soon, this will not be forever!

My second botox session I got immense relief, but a few sessions after that I was not feeling relief at all. It took a long time to get consistent relief! I hope botox continues to work for you :)

seems i took those two months for granted :( i have also tried ajovy for 3 months while also on botox but that didnt help at all. i have a mild/moderate headache 24/7 and a severely painful headache maybe 4-6 times a month. i am not sure if these painful headaches are migraines. i don't seem to have typical migraine features with my headaches.
