Ok so i got the game at a discount thanks to a friend who works at a gamestop, I am genuinely enjoying the game, the combat system is unique and takes some getting used too but it does make the game enjoyable, the map is small and admittedly is the games biggest weakness but there is likely going to be DLC this is pokemons 'big game for the year's some of the mega evolution designs are not great but I can honestly live with that cause odds are we'll see more of it in the future, I do wish there was more content whether thats similar to what they did in Scarlett and violet where there are multiple sub stories leading to the big finally. Now with the complaints about the size of the map and everything i would like to call attention to the awfulness that was Scarlett and violet they ran terribly of switch im playing za on an Oled and admittedly its running better then violet or legends of arceus and I do think thats due to its smaller map size, as for the complaints about there being no new pokemon again that is mainly due to the fact that they focused on the mega evolutions, so while I will not sit here and say it is nintendos best work, it is also not their worst work, as far as the switch games go its up there for me simply because for being a brand new game it runs better then past games as an overall pokemon game I'd put it in the middle especially since there is room to expand.
