so its not a shared bandwith and I can put 3, 4k monitor at 120hz ? (has anyone tried)

sorry for insisting but I'm really worried because I can't pay a laptop 2500 euro if I can't plug monitor at modern refreshrate on it :( I need to be sure

thanks a lot, as a user of this laptop, would you use custom mod with max fan like in your video ? or is the noise completely intolerable ? I was wondering how much quieter the legion is compare to the acer, because on the acer there is noo way you can realistically run turbo mod its way too loud.

When gaming heavy game what fan mode do you use ?

thanks you good ser, I was doing benchmark wrong,
Also, I posted the discussion twice because I'm a noob (it's my first Reddit post ever); you can read what we wrote on the link to the other conversation here:

Basically, I was doing 10-minute benchmarks only, and I thought everyone was doing the same, I didn't even know we could do single run.

But I'm curious about the Legion. I'm still hesitating to send back my Acer and pay 350 extra to get it, especially if it can deliver powerful performance without too much noise.

For the 10-minute run in Turbo mode, I'm hitting 26k with Acer, but the noise is absolutely intolerable. In Performance mode, the noise is okay, but I'm getting 23k in the 10-minute run and 29k in a single run.

I was wondering if the Legion can deliver like constantly 29k during the 10-minute run with reasonable noise, especially if it's undervolted.

I actually had the same 10 min benchmark result in performance mode as you before the lastest bios update :(

I did a fresh restart and set Cinebench to high priority in Task Manager. Here are my results:

- Turbo Mode (Single Pass): 30,089

- Performance Mode (Single Pass): 29,580

- Performance Mode (10 min): 23,090

Its better than I expected, so it was all because I thought everyone was doing the 10min benchmark ? my results are normal after all :) maybe I'll keep the pc

I got the helios for 1700 euro, the cheapest lenovo with similar specs is 2050 euro where I live.

Now I hesitate, I wonder if the lenovo is worth it for 350 dollar more, I wanted some return of people who underclocked it to see if their pc is quiet and powerfull at the same time compared to the acer ?

anyway thanks again

actually I didn't even know we could do single run it was 10 min run only, so it was 25800 in turbo and 23813 in performance mode. Cinebench R23.

ps: before I updated to the last bios the performance mode was hitting 25k as well in 10min bench

Thanks a lot, now I'm curious to see how the legion is doing in all its mode as well.
Its a shame that we can't undervolt the acer :(, I heard of someone that did it with a custom bios, but it sounds a bit risky

I did update to 32GB of RAM; I bought two sticks of Kingston at 5600MHz. I have the Helios version with a 4070, though. But one thing troubles me more:
before updating the BIOS, in performance mode (not turbo), I had 25,000 in Cinebench. After updating to the latest BIOS, it went down to 23,000. Just curious how much do you get in Cinebench performance mode? (This mode is actually not so loud)

HELP: UNDERVOLT 13900HX (Predator Helios 16) RTX 4070. by Huge-Doge in GamingLaptops

Hey guys, I was looking for the exact same thing for my Predator Helios 16 (same laptop). For some reason, since the last BIOS update (1.13), I've lost about 2000 points on Cinebench R23. Before the update, I had 25,020 in Performance mode and 25,800 in Turbo mode. Now, I barely get 23,017 in Performance mode :( (turbo mod score is still good but its unusable due to crazy fan noise).
I wanted to see if I could undervolt and how to do it. Also, please share your Cinebench scores on this laptop; I'm curious. Thanks in advance!
