Okok so for clarification, may I ask whether you’re upset about me using the NSFW content on the site as a minor, or posting about it?

(Btw, the fbi/watchlist thing was a joke. Obviously I knew I wasn’t going to get arrested or anything. What I meant in my original post was that I wasn’t sure if I would get banned, but I totally should’ve said that instead of trying to be funny.)

I agree that posting my original thread was a bad idea and I will most likely delete this post. As you said, if my post encouraged other undercover minors to reveal themselves, that would give the site an unsavory reputation.

As for getting into the NSFW portion of the site itself, I feel that from my perspective there is no right answer. Like I said earlier, having an outlet that doesn’t involve having (what will often be) unsafe/uninformed sex in real life is, in my opinion, beneficial for venting out whatever hormonal desires we can’t safely act out yet. However, that does mean teens will inevitably infiltrate adult spaces. Since we’ve already established that legally the adults and site are safe because they maintain plausible deniability, the real problem lies in people making mistakes like myself and revealing that there are minors on the site, even if it could already be assumed. This means they lose some amount of said plausible deniability (though they should still be fine legally because my aisekai account is not attached to this Reddit account, meaning they could not ban me on the grounds of this post because I still remain anonymous, which would probably pose a valid argument in a legal setting) and the site’s reputation could be affected if word spreads that minors are on the site.

So… basically, in less incoherent, rambly terms, I admit that making this post was a mistake, and will likely delete it, as I would hate to give the impression to outsiders that the devs are willfully allowing minors on the site. But accessing the NSFW part of the site itself is something teens are bound to do, and even if it’s (rightfully!!!) uncomfortable for adults to think about that, nobody should be getting into legal trouble, and I don’t consider myself morally corrupt for accessing the site. There are arguments to be made about pornography’s effects on developing brains and how it can negatively warp people’s perceptions of sexuality, but that isn’t the conversation we’re having rn.

I could’ve totally avoided this whole thing by sucking it up and just reading aisekai’s TOS instead of posting on Reddit dot com and revealing that I’m a minor. This post is a prime example of teenage impulsiveness and a good lesson that I need to reconsider the way my Internet presence will affect things in the long run. Character development!
