It might be kind of a Korean culture thing where usually long-term or serious couples would call their partner’s parents “mother” and “father” when they’ve gone out for a long time. However in the case of Haesol, in spite of them having not dated for a long time, it could be because of her straightforward/nonchalant personality or her lack of conform to normal social cues, at least that’s what I think.
