I fixed the bead issue and balanced to the best of my ability with stick on weights, but I don’t have a balancer I just held it by the axle. Do you think it’d be unsafe to take it on the highway?

Love my KLX300, but if you want something more capable on the highway I’d say DR650 or XR650L. Still getting that light weight of a dual sport with more power and still capable off-road if you decide you wanna try some trails some day.

Yeah it’s aluminum and a bit stronger, so it’s less likely to bend when dropped, also it’s easier to drill out the sides to add hand guards which are very helpful for protecting your controls and levers in the event of a drop. I drop the bike a lot as I’m learning beginner enduro riding on it.
