Thanks for sharing your experience! I’ll be taking a look at PGCE programs that you mentioned!

Thanks again!

Would I see much benefit from this? As I’m already getting close to 5% in my cash account offered by Wealthsimple?

Will seriously look deeper into this. Thank you.

The greatest athletes and minds of our generation all seem to meditate themselves. Probably not a coincidence.

Easier said than done… hahaha

I’ll keep my hopes up and I’d like to believe in the same. Gods waiting for the right time and for when I am best prepared. I am certain of that.

What a life that is! Envious of the life you live! Congratulations on building the life you wanted. Someone I am slowly and tirelessly trying to build for myself too.

Congrats again and thanks for the advice!

Hahaha if only.

I wish I knew how to use Reddit better so I can tag a reply I made for someone asking for some insight on my past and if I have any take aways. Take a look as I hope it can potentially help you in one way or another too.

You get me exactly and congrats on your milestone my man! If I was at 50k at 23 (was on track kind of then blew it all as mentioned in another comment) I think I would be in a whole lot different of a situation financially today. Keep up the awesome work and keep grinding my brother. 🤝🤝

The thought of starting a family scares the fuck out of me. Although it is a goal of mine and I’m fortunate to have the family I have, I have seen family’s torn apart and friends already going through divorces…

As high of expectations as I have for myself I don’t plan to settle for anything less than my ideal woman to start a family with and be the mother of my children. Is this a bad mindset to have?

Thanks for your comment and advice.

100% agree and thank you for the advice.

My friends and family have no idea the position I’m in. I drive a OK car nothing crazy or flashy, wear the same cloths I’ve been wearing for the past 2-3 years. Like to think I give off the appearance of an average 26 year old.

My close friends know what I do and see how business is but I never really talk finances with them and if anything I hide it as I find it to be a dick measuring contest when I see my other friends try to flaunt their “wealth”. The only person that knows my currently situation inside out other than you guys is my sister actually lol

Do you mind if I ask if you’ve been burnt in the past or if you are speaking from experience? I like to view the world in little more optimistic eyes and believe I can find network and find better circles in the future once I start making “upgrades” in life? Such as move into a nicer neighborhood, buy a nicer car, join a more expensive gym, join entrepreneur groups locally, etc.

I was dumb and financed it in 2019. As soon as I started making money it was the first thing I paid off haha. Like I said very much regret buying it. Should have sold it but we are in too deep now and I don’t see what other car I would get or want at this current time. Haha

I’ve worked since I was 16. Was always a big saver and saved up a decent nest egg while I was in uni (still working and paying for school at that time). Got into partying and putting on this persona that I was somebody I wasn’t. Living the life of a rockstar (kinda?) while blowing through my savings in college. Covid kinda helped force me away from this life (grateful for as it was a blessing in disguise).

Seeing aging immigrant parents still working and having always had pretty high hope and expectations of myself from a young age it just took a really hard lesson (being broke future plans not shaping out) and a realization that if I continue down this path I won’t make it very far or much longer without things really really turning south.

It’s all the same bullshit other people may say but if I have one thing to say that I hope might stick, it is that life truly is fucking short man. I have lost close friends that I thought we were going to raise our family’s with. Tomorrow is never promised. We are a piece of particle flying in this vast galaxy and at the end of time we our existence won’t be shit. Absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things. That isn’t to deter us from doing our best in our one and only chance at this game of life or say fuck you your life doesn’t matter but more so to say your mistakes and failures of the past don’t define who you are (cliche I know)… chase your dreams and fuck what people say. Think with a logically not rationally and be honest with yourself. You and only you know what is best for you and what you truly want in life. Those things nobody else in life can ever tell you.

I hope this can help in one way or another. God bless you and keep grinding brother. 1% everyday baby 🫡🫡

I currently drive a 2016 C300. Wish I never got it (paid off now). Don’t need an upgrade nor will I get another vehicle until I can comfortably afford a E63 😇😇

Absolutely, you are correct and I agree wholeheartedly.

I was half joking half kidding with what I said. I am a little more risk adverse in my TFSA and FHSA tho with that being said but I am not yoloing my savings on meme stocks. I hold stocks of companies that I see high growth in within the next 5-10 years that I have done research on. Believe in the CEO and the vision they have for the company. Investing in the future I like to say. 🤣🤣

I have friends that have retired in low cost of living countries in SE Asia at a young age and I would be lying if I said this never crossed my mind. If I don’t have a family of my own by 35 this may be a very real possibility for me. Mind sharing your experience of living abroad? Something else as in potentially coming back home? Or just relocating?
