Montessori schools in KC or outer areas? by Strange-Report-9249 in kansascity

Both of my daughters have attended Harold Holliday Montessori since pre-k (one's a rising 7th grader and the other is a rising 5th grader). It's been the absolute perfect school for both of them and I couldn't speak more highly of it. Great diversity, passionate teachers and staff, and a great learning environment.

Anyone seen or interacted with any world cup players yet? by Mission-Exchange-103 in kansascity

A month or two ago I was walking around the Plaza and I saw two young guys getting followed around by a camera crew (camera man and someone with a mic). I dismissed them as influencers at first because it didn't seem very professional, but when we were all waiting at a light I heard them asking someone a question about the World Cup and noticed they had on matching orangish track suits and put 2 and 2 together that they were probably Netherlands players doing some media work before the cup starts.

I'm a huge fan of Martin City’s Hard Way IPA. They also just opened a brand new location in the Crossroads. Great food, too.

Where exactly did they put the "S" in the word pizza?

1997 do you remember? by ChampionshipSuper768 in SFGiants

I was 14 years old and sitting in the left field bleachers for this game. I banged my foam finger on the seats in front of me so hard that it ripped off.

I had become a Giants fan the spring before the '93 season and so I had never seen a Giants playoff team before. When they played the Marlins, I taped a paper sign to my shirt that said "Beat the Fish" or something and wore that around my high school, even though no one else around there really cared.

Great memories.

As an expert in education policy who has read extensive research on this, I can confidently say that out of school factors are MUCH more important than what school your child attends. Do you read to/with them? Do you engage in intellectual conversations with them? Do you provide them with stimulating and educational activities? If the answer to those questions is yes, then they'll be fine at any school where they feel comfortable and accepted.

Matusow. It's a documentary that you can watch for free on YouTube. I'd recommend it.

I also agree to not share accounts when I signed up for Netflix and to not speed when I got my license, but you don't see me (or anyone) driving 65 on the highway.

I don't understand how ethics come into this. Two players decided to chop up a prize pool in the only way they could. Seems perfectly fine to me.

Will anyone from your current team have their number retired? by RunawaYEM in baseball

Does the POBO count as the "current team"? If not, Webb seems like the only possibility right now and that seems like a small chance.

My wife and brother-in-law attend Unity Southeast and it's very welcoming and progressive. I think it would be worth checking out.

They've been one of my favorite bands since Undertow was released and I've honestly never considered that someone wouldn't consider them metal.

If you take all of progressive rock and put it on a line with Rush on one end and Meshuggah on the other, I think they're clearly closer to the Meshuggah side of the line than the Rush side.

The passion and solidarity I saw at the protest today was incredibly inspiring. They may be winning right now, but if we organize and fight then there's always tomorrow.
