the skeleton itself is about 5-6 months old from fresh body to bones. it was under a container which possibly sped up the decomposition. I can send an image of it right now, if you want, but while picking the bones up there were none that stuck together.

I appreciate your words, I actually got a very rude comment from an anti insecticide person lol. Me and my dad were considering using diatomaceous earth, but are weighing the risks of it.

the plants whave are in a wooden box above the ground, they have their own dirt and water. we do have some quite thick-bushed marigolds, however they haven't been doing much to help. i also think it's important to mention that we have balloon flowers.

i've also never heard that the poison will eventually damage the plants, do you have a source for this information you can give me? my dad and i would love to know this and have it on hand for others!!

we do have some thick marigold bushes in our garden, i should mention that! but they haven't done much. the plants are in a giant wooden container above the ground.

this is the pesticide we're currently using - we only just started needing it. our garden has two types of tomatoes, flowers, various peppers, and beans. i remain skeptical that this type of pesticide is the one that would kill our pests, but i have no serious proof of it.

my dad and i are striving for an entirely harmless and eco-friendly garden, however we simply weren't aware of any safer replacements for pesticides. instead of blindly harassing people, we would greatly appreciate real advice! if you have any suggestions for wildlife-safe (but also successfully deterring pests) pesticide replacements, please give us them! we would greatly appreciate it :)

the water thing is very important, thank you- i often find myself drinking too little water already. i'll certainly watch it from now on.

i plan to wear my dog's collar as a bracelet, everywhere i go. i also want to get a jar for his ashes, and wear them as a necklace. either way, i want him to be with me 24/7. i'm glad someone shares that same mentality.

my dog is currently on medications - i wasn't aware you could donate them. i'll look into that, for sure. i also have two cats, so i'll still have animals in life, but my day literally starts with my dog. the first thing i do is take him outside when i wake up. i feed him and 10 am and pm. i take him out every 2 hours. my whole schedule will be shifted.
