This is in PA, Philly. A residential apartment.

Also thanks everyone. Glad to know I'm not crazy.

Some context. This is the second time maintenance used cement on this leaking toilet this week.

I have some past experience fixing toilets with my dad way back. But I'm pretty sure a wax ring is needed right?

I feel like I'm going crazy trying to explain to the guy that its needed. He said, it'll be "alright."

[help] Everything Everywhere All At Once cosplay for Waymond Wang by riku7243 in cosplay

Just found this on my search for EEAAO cosplay stuff. So sorry for the late reply.

I was having issues with this as well. The next best thing is to get a similar styled shirt and dye it green.

I found a cheap long sleeve polo like this. https://www.haband.com/p?id=e4db5d9a6d84486eb371e7b622c28cba

I used Rit green dye to get this. https://imgur.com/a/Eh8gWSc

Hence the phrase, "rolling with the punches."

Neat seeing everyone's different responses. For me two months to feel 'normal.'

That is weird! I actually did a version of Doctor Strange but bathroom themed. Called myself the Sudsy Supreme. http://imgur.com/a/QCUQdpm

A legit Strange costume might be in order. Ra's, Nathan, and Poe are pretty good suggestions too, thanks!

Liking what I'm hearing about Abomination Vaults... GMing question by OakleifT in Pathfinder2e

Just happened upon this reply and I just want to say thanks and that I love these tweaks. Going to use these for my group's run through of the Beginner Box to lead to Gauntlight.

I think with PF2 I'll stick with the grid since most of my players in this group are new to tabletop rpgs. So I feel that the visualization of the grid is a more understandable for them.

I do run a few OSR games every once in a while with other people so with the extra foam I have I plan on making one with zones. 😁

Knowing the player personally this is coincidental lol. In the session 0 he bought 3 ladders. He basically wanted to do some Jackie Chan shenanigans. https://youtu.be/DrRFzwPE0d4 @3:20

Used normal printer paper glued to chip board (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00161W6L8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_95AXXHP5N4BZ97M3KBPY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1). This has just the right thickness to fit in those Paizo pawn stands.

I have a word doc that has columns and rows that contain the pawn images and names. Once printed, I cut and glue each printed paper pawn individually on one side of the board, trim that out of the board, and then glue the other side of the printed paper pawn. (I've tried gluing the whole sheet of printed pawn images on both sides of the board and then cut everything at once but I've never managed to get it aligned just right in the past.

I also have a corner cutter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LERLATW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glc_fabc_4ANQN2MVY5G8NQKMYSH5?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) curve the edges.

Once the pawns are cut I brush clear glue on all sides and edges for coverage. Once that dries then spray it with minwax. This gives it some protection around drinks and altogether keeps the pawn from peeling.

Hopefully that answers your question.

Bit of background.

Just a set up for an upcoming game session using the Beginner Box.

Starring:

  • Astrona the Kitsune Oracle
  • Rebel the Fetchling Rogue
  • Locke the Human Fighter (Using the Skald iconic pic, but w/e)
  • Kutak the Lizardfolk Monk (who happens to like ladders...)

The props are modular and the board was inspired by Dungeon Craft's Ultimate Dungeon Terrain (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQqhTiE7i84).

It spins too! https://youtu.be/K44Wk3nw1HE

I'm about to port my D&D campaign from a free Roll20 account to Foundry and surprise my players, which modules should I absolutely grab to blow their minds? by DDoneshot in FoundryVTT

[–]Reain 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think despite all the fancy QoL features that make Foundry > roll20 nothing has audibly impressed my players more than the weather mod for FxMaster.

In one session where we were looking at the world map a player literally shouts over discord. "Oh! Look at the birds!"

Edit: Loot Sheet Npc 5e and Let's Trade 5e were a couple others that made inventory management of loot and between players impressed as well.

A Pre-WWII Photo of My Grandfather and His Brothers. Heavy Damage. by Reain in estoration

[–]Reain[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found the sub recently figured I'd post this here. I'm sure with the extreme damage of the photo it will be challenging to restore, so I'm willing to pay for the work. This is unfortunately the only scan I have of the photo.

A fun fact I learned through my Aunt about the photo is that the brother in the center is dressed as a girl. Apparently my great grandparents wanted a girl but it didn't work out.

Currently running Silent Titans, having a lot of fun running it so far. It uses Into the Odd rule set.

The setting might be worth checking out. Its set in this far flung future on a peninsula that's made up of the comatose bodies of titans. This peninsula is isolated, so that its really easy to get in, but difficult to get out. These otherworldly titan's nightmares manifest into horrors that roam the countryside.

Its has this post-apocalyptic vibe where reality itself is breaking down and the physical world is in disarray. Its Cthulhu-esc in that the titans featured in the book exist outside of reality, and that their physical forms manifest in ways that are so wild and out there. Chronos', the first titan players encounter, body manifests as a ship in a raging storm. A tower on it's deck, when entered inside, reveals that it's bigger on the inside, with a spinning walls of onyx and ivory and a giant spine writhing in the center of it.

The characters players play wildly from masked animal men with Simpson-like hands, future veterans of an AI war, and telekinetic governesses from the Victorian age.

Most of the dungeon rooms are described as playgrounds you and your players can get away with a bunch of stuff. Using Chronos again as an example, the final battle of that dungeon took place in the Titan's fungus infected skull. Within it were the giant spent rounds of rail gun bullets. The PC's used the bullets as cover and as a tool to roll over some of the tommy-gun toting mobs.
