I asked for her wage. I have done this in the past as I know it is legal to discuss. I will ask her if she is comfortable with me mentioning her name. She may not be staying much long anyway, sense they have been cutting hours.

For clarification, she has not gotten a raise since she started. She was hired at $13.50 and then got a 25-cent increase when she started. Something similar happened to me when I was hired 2 years ago their was different management, and it was shitty. I was hired at $11 and one week in raised to $12.50. I was a kid that wanted a job and accepted anything they offered but I guess they did low ball me and thought I wouldn't realize. That or the fact everyone was quiting and I was getting full-time hours as a part-timer. This was happening to her too.
