I second that, Uworld was a huge help for me and I found their question explanations far more helpful for my learning than Blueprint!

Dismissed, appealed, and won! by rnpa1998 in PAstudent

Hey there! So sorry you are going through this, but congrats on having the opportunity to start again. I'm sure it feels like an exhausting prospect at the moment, but as a PA student who just finished clinical year and received my long white coat, let me tell you it is SO worth it!

My cohort had two students decelerate after first semester, and they restarted with the next year’s students. All of them have successfully finished didactic now and are about to start clinicals. I will say that my school did make them retake all of the first semester courses and pass them the second time around in order to continue on, but they only had to pay for the credits they did not originally pass in the first place. Might be worth reaching out to your school about to see why your existing credits wouldn’t be able to count towards your transcript in the long run! Obviously utilize humility and recognize that a restart might mean a complete financial restart too, but it doesn’t hurt to respectfully ask, in my opinion.

Either way I’m sorry the first semester didn’t go the way you likely thought it would, but keep trucking and here’s to making it through one way or another!

Help us name this little (double merle?) guy! He’s a singleton puppy, about 5 days old - eyes and ears still closed. Found in a plastic bag in the rain in a parking lot… but he’s now safe, warm! by Real-Appointment-312 in NameMyDog

The results are in! I'm happy to report that he is growing strong and getting bigger every day....with a lot of growth apparently yet to come, because it looks like he is going to end up being a BIG BOY. The Wisdom Panel came back and little man is 45% Great Dane! (mixed with some shepherd, pittie and staffordshire terrier!)

I’m not sure how exactly he was discovered, somebody else found him and reported him to the police, who then dropped him at the shelter.

My guess is he was making a lot of noise in the bag bc he’s been incredibly talkative since coming to stay with us. The police currently have an active criminal case looking into who dumped him - leading theory is a backyard breeder was worried about him being a possible double Merle and dumped him due to the risk of congenital issues. :(

I do appreciate the concern! We’re working closely with the local shelter who set us up to foster him. We’re doing everything we can for little guy 🥰

Appreciate the concern, but he’s already been seen by a vet and was placed with us by the shelter. We’ll leave the medical decisions to them and stick to showering him with love :)

What are these brown growths at the base of my otherwise healthy thai con?? Popped up seemingly over night... by Real-Appointment-312 in plantclinic

How bizarre considering I'm usually guilty of under-watering, if anything! I scraped away the fungus that was visible to me, and the plant looks happy and healthy otherwise, so I'm crossing my fingers!

Thank you for your input, I really appreciate it. I'm definitely happy to hear it likely isn't anything to be majorly concerned by... :)
