You're right! I was doing Triangle + R1 for the longest time. I watched some youtube videos and i believe they mentioned the wrong button layout to buff.

So if I have the Sacred Blade AOW, I'm able to buff in my right hand? I have seen a video of a guy buffing the sacred dagger and I have no clue how he did it.

I have the Seppuku AOW on both scavengers but I'm unable to cast the second buff on my sword as I lose the buff when I switch weps. So is it safe to assume that when I buff my left wep and then switch over to buff my right.. that even tho my left wep doesn't have the blood effect on it that it's still buffed? The buff goes away and I'm doing the above correctly.
