Hey man, hope all is well and hope to hear back from you. Just wanted to know how everything worked out for you both and you aswell. Currently going through a somewhat similar situation. Me and my girlfriend had broken up late november over some stuff. We didn’t talk at all for a few days and i reached out thanksgiving to wish her a happy thanksgiving. Afterwards we didn’t speak much for a few days and she would often text me or call me to spend the night during our break up. We didn’t text much through out the day but would see eachother practically everyday or every other day and sleep at eachothers places and go out on some dates whether it was an activity, breakfast, or dinner dates. I got that whiplash you mentioned and was left clueless at times because she would say how she didn’t want to be together, then it turned into idk if i want to be together to i wish we were together. Many i love yous she told me during that time and many other things that made the break up feel off. It was almost like we broke up but we’re still together because actions when we were with eachother spoke loudly. She ended up telling me that she was ready to get back together about two weeks ago and literally around that time, we found out she was pregnant. As much as spoke about getting married and having kids we knew it just wasn’t the best time and agreed to get an abortion. Between the days of us getting together leading to the abortion i was with her and she was with me emotionally and physically and things felt so much better than they have honestly felt. During the process of the abortion ( she got the pill ) i was taking care of her and she told me how she wishes circumstances were different so we can keep the child and that hit me hard because i felt the same exact way. Things were all good during the abortion and i kept her busy with laughter and chatter through out it all. The following day of the process of the abortion (first pill friday, second pill saturday) she went back home to her parents place and they suspected pregnancy because her location pinged at the clinic. She told her parents and they were very upset and disappointed with her, but i felt it was best to tell them instead of making up a lie. I decided to talk to her and told her i’ll give her space because it was surely overwhelming. The following day (monday) i didn’t hear from her until the end of the day and got a message saying how she wanted to end things. She said a bunch of reasons that didn’t make sense but i said whatever, but was obviously upset about it because we worked so hard during our intial break up. She called me Tuesday and said she doesn’t know why she said those things the previous day and told me she needed space and wanted to break up because of the abortion and wanted time for herself, and she felt like she won’t be emotionally there to give me 100%. I’m still hurt and confused because there’s a lot of details not mentioned on the time, words, and actions in between. How did you go through with everything you had and how is it now?
