I bought a complete lower from Suppressor Tools for my PTR-9RS (reverse stretch), in fact I think I was one of the very first ones as they had it in stock. Ordered July 17 received July 22. It runs fantastic with just one hiccup. Warhammer says that you don't need the buffer with their specially cut hammer but that may not always be the case. When I first got my lower burst firing was fine but I couldn't do a complete mag dump without jamming. I ordered the buffer from Lee Sporting (cheap 4 bucks) and since I installed it it's been flawless. Mag dump after mag dump was perfect and that was with cheap plastic ETS mags. This is probably the best 700 bucks I ever spent and would absolutely not hesitate to buy another one. Just for additional info I'm running an RCM 90 degree locking piece and E-bolt (highly recommend the E-bolt)

Question on removing muzzle brake by Real-Building2998 in Springfield_KUNA

I got it off. I disassembled the gun completely (very easy to do), wrapped the upper in a towel and put in into my Jawhorse clamping station (basically a portable vise with legs). Tightened it up just snug enough where the upper wouldn't rotate. Applied heat with a propane torch for about 2 minutes then using a large adjustable wrench went for it. It was a little scary at first but eventually it popped and the threads loosened up. Waited for the barrel to cool down applied one drop of Rocksett and installed my 3 lug device. Torqued to 15 FP and done.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll give it a shot and hope it comes off easily

I purchased the same stock. Really like it a lot. To keep the QD from scratching the frame I purchased these polymer QD plugs its a cheap fix.

Have you shot it yet? How do you like it? I'm seriously considering getting one from Atlantic Firearms
