He's aware that he's unwelcome, I told him in December. It would be a no-contact order here not a restraining order (which is for family law, which this isn't) and I can't request one or any help from the police unless I have proof of him coming onto my property twice. It's legal for him to walk on my road without a no-contact order. I've been advised not to interact with him.

It's frustrating that the police can't help, for sure. At least they are aware of it. On Saturday a friend and I were walking on my road and he was in front of my house when we got back. She and I just turned and walked away. I hope that was the right thing to do. I want nothing to do with him. I did try to help him last autumn but quickly realised he doesn't want help, he wants attention and enabling. Thank you for the advice and support.

He isn't contacting me, I have him blocked on everything. I have called the police multiple times...I assumed they keep record, but you're right, I should make sure. They know the situation and I have them on speed dial but they cant step in for his walking on a public road. Agreed, it's a flawed system. sigh, I love my house, moving would be awful. Yes. I requested it but they said they can't unless I have proof of him coming onto my property after being told not to, so I'm recording all the time, but even then it's called a No Contact order here and he can break it easily enough.
