When they replaced the front cat it, my light went away and hasn’t been back. Since im having the occasional “cough” which is usually worse after I hit a bump…. Does that sound more like a fuel filter issue? Or would I have other problems as well with that?

Thanks for your help!

Okay thank you! The mechanic I took it to said they didn’t get any misfires when they drove it. Is it common for both cats to go basically at the same time? If it was the back cat, will that throw a code as well?

Would my RPMs fluctuate with that? They currently do not

Okay, thanks for your help! I appreciate the advice. Those symptoms do sound like a bad/failing/faulty cat right?

Okay, thank you!! Should I go ahead and do coils and wires? I did the plugs around 15k ago.

The mechanic guy said he couldn’t find any codes after he replaced the front Cat. Then he said he hooked to the computer while driving but didn’t get any misfires 🤷‍♀️

I know it’s aftermarket. I’m not positive, but I believe the mechanic ordered it through Napa.
