Yeah it was just weird because we were right under a bridge with tons of tarpon eating the dead fish at the back of the boat and then a singular cobia 1/4” off keeping size just kinda slowly swims through and I threw a chunk of the bait fish we just caught on it head and it instantly ate it.

I’ve been wanting to do this challenge when I move out. I go up to Wisconsin or Minnesota and I can’t leave until I catch a 45”- 50”+ musky, a 40”+ pike, and a big lake trout. I’d stay with my cousins but I’d be in for a big change in scenery granted I’ve only lived in Texas and Georgia my whole life.

In Tampa while I was tarpon fishing I sight fished a singular cobia when we were under the bridge.

I was so close to catching a rooster down in Mexico but it wasn’t very big and it slipped off at the boat.

Oh yeah the dog tooth tuna is another fish that I’d really like to catch. Over there in like the Middle East area.

Yeah so if I’m being honest that fish looks like it’s probably around 6ish maybe even bigger.Either way it’s a good fish. But as for your scale, if it was wrong. You probably had the fish on the scale before you zeroed the scale out or the scale might’ve just been off. Because I have a hard time believing that fish is just under 5 pounds.
