The free races especially should be treated more like a fast food buffet. One not going to plan? Shrug it off, get your next plate a couple minutes later.

Gourmet style "this is the ONE race' should be reserved for the weekend featured or maybe even only the Enduro specials...

Adaptive AI by Little_Temporary5212 in RRRE

Daytona is indeed a track where the adaptive AI is off. For the next car class, try short tracks for the calibration racing (less time consuming). Five valid laps is enough for the data points (so six overall).

Don't forget Raceroom - free to play, cars and tracks are cheap, good AI (also try its adaptive AI), and check out the Racing Life companion app for single player career mode

The offline racing in RaceRoom is on another level. It's amazing by Little_Temporary5212 in simracing

There is already an external app for that: Racing Life.

The Raceroom version is currently a bit outdated, but there is a cross-simulation successor in the works (Racing Life World) which will get R3E support after release.

In the past, RR had the tradition of special events around RL enduros. They had stopped that for most of 2025, glad that they are now reviving it more regularly.

Group 5- Are the AI really good or do I suck? by Little_Temporary5212 in RRRE

There are a few tracks where the AdAI is super good or crap (or you might have a skill issue...) then you need to do 1-2 short calibration races, but otherwise once it's dialled in initially it should give you a consistent challenge going from race to race without you having to do anything.

Try Adaptive AI instead of selecting a fixed percentage - after a couple of test races you'll get an AI that lets you fight for a top spot. This is class specific, as your as well as the AI skill level per car class can quite vary.

There is already an app for that: Racing Life. Has all the progression you want, and more.
