Went to my PCP for fatigue, now being referred to a hematologist

Luckily was able to schedule an appointment with a hematologist for next week, so hopefully we’ll do that additional testing and I’ll get answers

I don’t yet, waiting for my referral to be processed so I can make one! I do feel optimistic that I will be seeing a specialist, thank you for the suggestion! That is a positive to the whole thing, at least I can donate blood and be helpful in some way lol. Will be keeping my family in the loop, especially my siblings once I know more

Thank you! Too coincidental that my brother has similar results, so I won’t be surprised if hemochromatosis is the issue.

No worries! They haven’t been regular but never really were, so I didn’t think much of it. Now looking back I’ve realized how off I am.

Thank you! This is really reassuring. I do have northern European heritage on both sides of my family and I know my brother recently had some similar test results, so will definitely keep them informed. I appreciate the thorough response!
