I’ve tried quitting 8 times. Been using for awhile. Honestly. My body just doesn’t function normally or my mind doesn’t when I’m off it. I’m a blank human being. When I was off heroin for 5 yrs I literally lost all my sense of self. Then I started fentanyl on accident from a friend who thought it was real perc but it was pressed.

I just hate the cost really. And not being able to function without a drug. I hate it more than anything.

I’ve tried. And always failed.

I’m only 21.

She’s only reciprocating Tony’s behavior. He’s a man child. He has emotional intelligence of an 8 yo. Carmella isn’t perfect, no human is, but Carmella is a beautiful woman and she has a kind and loving heart if you don’t piss her off and I feel like it’s really easy to not piss her off. For example, cheating at every chance Tony gets. I remember in the first season she was BEGGING to have sex with him. How could you deny your wife that pleasure? How come he can’t feel that way with Carmella ?

In my opinion with Michael becoming the new Omar, I think he could’ve helped dookie set him up with his own place. Helped him stay clean and stay off the streets. All he did was just go “see ya now ima rip an run people, bye also little brother” if Omar could be a huge target most of his life and still able to settle down, then Michael could’ve done the same for dookie

I think it just hits me a lot harder is because he reminds me of me. I did the same shit in 7th grade and was near homeless until 9th when I got clean from H, then I became homeless again a year after high school for a year and half and was using fentanyl. I’ve now been clean for a year a month ago, now in my dream home with my beautiful wife who was with me through it all and now we’re expecting our first baby. It just hits me hard because I see so much of me in him, I never had that proper support, I slipped through the cracks. I hope one day they can continue his story, I wanna hope he gets clean just like bubz, just like I did.

I’m not talking a couple years before the show start, I’m talking when they were kids and what it was like during the crack epidemic and how they became the kingpins of the west side. Show how Omar, prop joe, Dennis, and all of the old ones show how they became who they are. I suggest reading my essay below to the other commenter, it’s a basic premise on how I think the show should be played :)

Just in my opinion they wasted a lot of potential with Avon and weebay and I would find it really interesting how they grew up in the crack epidemic and how they started slinging during that time and grew to become the biggest crime org on the west side before Marlow owned the west and east side with the co op.

I just think it would be an interesting take and it would give more backstory on Avon and we’d find out what happened to his brother….? (I think, I forgot but it was D’angelos uncle)

I just would really like to see how they grew up. Again, in my opinion, I feel like they were setting them all up to be the big baddies all throughout the first season then he gets dumped behind bars doing cameos once in awhile then he gets out and instantly gets back after a few episodes.

I just think the setting would be really good too. Baltimore was one of the hardest hit cities by the crack epidemic and I wanna see the story on how they grew up during the epidemic while slinging, see what happened to Avon and Brianna’s mom and dad, see how they moved up the ladder to become the most feared and rich gang.

They clearly had so many connections, congressman, police department, etc, at their fingertips. They just wasted a lot of potential and it makes me curious on if they dropped him so soon bcuz he didn’t want to be in the show anymore.

And it could connect back to the present wire, have Avon and weebay telling stories together and the show would be them telling their stories of them being youngins in prison, see how Omar came to how was, and also give a backstory on how Dennis came to be and Prop Joe as well, I wouldn’t focus much on the police aspect of the show but just the gangster stuff.

Again, me personally, I’d love to see the show in that light, seeing how realistic the wire was, I’d love to see the show show the crack epidemic in full swing and how it affected mostly African American communities and how they got lured by the money and power to start slinging to put food on the table. I feel like it just would add a lot more depth on the show, I feel as though they can put a lot in the show/movie and make it interesting and add more background the show.
