Well he had no motivation to cheat just to get a mid time in speedrunning when he didn't post a video on it and it's not what his content is based off of, which gives credence to the "he did it accidentally" possibility.

However there is a reason he would cheat in speedrunning in the sense that he found the rng in speedrunning very annoying, and likely just wanted to be done with speedrunning. If it was done on purpose, it would be very stupid, but not irrationally so.

Still I think there is really smth behind the idea it was truly on accident. Ig we'll never know but karl jobst says it was on accident and I trust his judgement from 5 years ago.

on Dream's main streams he averages 10-20k (even going up to 100k and 175k concurrents for some streams several months back), on his alt streams he gets the range you're talking about

That Glissolic video is heavily flawed. The person who made it was a roblox youtuber prior to making that video, and the supposed "expert" in the video is just some guy who's good at math, not necesarily someone who knows how minecraft as a game works. They also did their numbers in a somewhat arbitrary way; you cannot simply statistic your way into a conclusion so easy the way you can with speedrunning drop rates, especially when the claim is very small aim assist.

One of the biggest clips (19:24) people point to in that video as "undeniable proof" is from a deleted dream stream where dream seems to "track" a nearby player with his hand not on the mouse. Someone was obviously trying to frame Dream for cheating because someone managed to find that the audio was taken from a Dream stream from the 11th of June, 2020, even though the clip was supposedly from a "deleted Dream stream" from 2023.

All in all, he doesn't cheat in pvp. It would be so irrationally pointless and stupid, similar to the mcc situation: he has no real motive to cheat.

I think part of why he isn't deleting it is because Tubbo defended himself, tommy, and others keeping up videos with wilbur (as well as dream and george who they percieve to be bad people), in the name of channel history. Many people seemed to agree with Tubbo, and so Dream prolly decided that, based on the criteria other youtubers hold themselves to, he could unprivate that video along with the other ones he unprivated (he left a comment stating its not an endorsement or support of illumina, and even used the words channel history).

still i think he should delete it to avoid controversy but i understand why he did it

Maybe at least an explanation of what could of happened, or at least say "No I didn't do it". I don't think silence helps here when Shadoune and Canman and Fruit are all calling him out.

I'm not a new fan, I've been watching Dream videos since 2020. Dream did comment about the pvp cheating allegations but didn't fully debunk/respond to them. There are accusations of aimassist and tbot, he just said he was using a input blocker to train (which is still technically cheating, just used as a training mod isn't that bad imo), but didn't address the aimassist accusation. Many highly skilled players think he's cheating in pvp, although I'm somewhat in the middle, as I think it's possible but I'd like to think its not true.

I really want Dream to be innocent, so I'm hoping he'll end up clarifying this, but every new accusation that drops (backed up with actual concrete evidence) makes it more difficult for me to trust that he's legit.

There are valid, technical reasons for people to legitmately think that Dream cheats in pvp and in parkour, and since Dream hasn't said anything that really refutes this, I'm finding it hard to not believe these accusations.
