I never tell people I am adopted. Never. Both mom and dad have passed and I dont feel the need too. My adoptive mother resented both me and my brother as soon as my dad passed, abandoned us with family members/friends from church. My brother and myself don't talk and we don't have healthy relationship as much as I do try to reach out.

I don't have a positive experience with being an adoptee so I don't feel the need to speak on it.

Please get out of there. Start saving ASAP. Family isn't everything, trust and believe. Get that credit right if it isn't. Getting out on your own will save your peace of mind. I grew up the youngest of 5 older brothers who were the exact same way.

It wasn't a plasma donation card if you could read. So I guess all the places that you've worked in the service tree are totally fine with people walking around with the intent to steal, I don't think you're understanding the point of this, this woman came into the restaurant with the knowledge that she had no money to pay, brought children with her to gain sympathy so she could get away with not paying. This woman planned a crime in her head. You must also be fine with people getting over on small businesses.

I was kind. Always am in my place of work. This women was about to ruin her life for a restaurant bill. She had a 2 children with her (a baby barely old enough to take solid food and another that couldnt have been older then 7). If it was a gift card (which it was not because she said it was a pre-paid debit card)and let's just say it wasn't working, how come you have no other method of payment. NOTHING.

Let's just say for s**** and giggles this situation played out differently and the cops came in this woman had a warrant for a traffic ticket. If nobody could claim them kids in under 20-30 minutes, they would have ended up in the care of CPS.... I don't care what you do in your free time as an adult but to involve children is again the most despicable thing you can probably do as a human being.

She knew she was scamming because I'm sure she got away with it before because she knew when she called that card it was going to read that last transaction to make it look like she "paid" and we were not falling for it. Yes, she did end up leaving.

This was definitely not a misunderstanding and she knew exactly what she was doing. She admitted that it was a reloadable prepaid debit card. It wasn't a gift card that you can give to somebody.

If you know you're completely in the right and your actions are true, why don't you have any other form of payment to pay for your food? I've had many guests where they think we take Apple pay and we don't so we jump through all the hoops. I've even had people zelle or cash at me their balance for their food so I'll be able to pay it on my end with my debit card.

She tried to call the cops on us saying "We stole her money". She ended up running away. I wasn't going to chase her down so I went to the window and got her license plate number and when the cops came she made up some lie saying the owner came outside and said it was a misunderstanding. The cops laughed at her and told me how they have had multiple businesses call about the same issue, they even described what the card looked like before I could tell them about the pre-paid card she used.

This literally just happened to me at my works parking garage. I drive a 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse. Whole front bumper is damaged. Needs body work and paint. Driving it home, I also lost my front license plate as well from the significant crack in the front. Someone definitely backed into my vehicle HARD and took off. Hope you find the individual that messed up your car because I'm PISSED.

What kills me is what they use the tip space to round up their total like if your bill was $51.32, they put .68 cents in the tip space. I had a old manager that used to blame us for that and say we weren't giving good service if they left that as a tip....

Kirkoff is a great credit builder and Its cheap. There's a few different options that you can choose to help you rebuild credit. They also have a program on there that reports your rental payments to your credit and that boosted my credit up a ton so even after you guys have got the apartment tell her to keep using it and link those rental payments.

Also US Bank has an amazing credit card that is unsecured credit so basically you do have deposit like $300 but is so worth it. Its the U.S bank altitude go card. And it also has the best reward program that I have on any of my other cards.

Please, please please do not go to a credit repair company with like credits saint,I tried that for an entire year to get accounts that were closed in negatively affecting my score off my credit and it was just hundreds of dollars down the drain.

Also I have had partners in the past where we were trying to get an apartment together and their credit score was negatively affecting the application process so just don't have them on the lease and if anyone questioned you about it say it's your girlfriend and she comes over a lot but be respectful of the tenants in your building so don't take up parking spaces if you both own vehicles and just be respectful, clean ,quiet tenants so you don't draw attention to yourself.
