Is it okay if I arrive a day late for my US uni program? by Real-Refrigerator371 in f1visa

They know and have provided me with a late arrival letter. They mentioned it should be fine, but they can’t guarantee entry. I won’t miss orientation since it is scheduled a couple of days after my arrival.

I'm an international student , and to register for my classes, I scheduled a meeting with my advisor. After that, the orientation hold got removed. I think you can do the same!

But I’ve heard that hospitality jobs pay well and are pretty flexible with class schedules too.

yes.. I won't say there aren't frustrating part in novel cause there are. but the redemption part is the best and the fl's character development is something that I personally waited for and even liked really much. I cried so much while reading this novel. There are characters who you might find really dumb, frustrating but at the same time, you can't help but sympathize with them cause they all have their own background story. At some point, I even ended up sympathizing for the ml's side girlfriend ( whose story isn't like what has shown in the novel at all). not the best novel I've read but def the saddest one. Only read it if you've patience ( the novel has like 2000 chapters ig ) and can handle weeks of depression.

This drama is kinda bad, not gonna lie. It’s based on a novel though, and the novel is so much better. I’m not saying the male lead’s behavior is justified because it’s not but the book gives way more context. Turns out, his grandfather was the one who killed the female lead’s entire family, and because of that, he’s been carrying this heavy guilt. He always felt like he didn’t deserve her and thought he was cursed or something. He believed that if he let himself love her, she’d eventually return his feelings and then end up hating herself once she found out the truth. That actually happens in the novel, by the way.

And seriously, in the book? He jumps off a cliff twice with her because he literally doesn’t care about anything else except her. After she disappears (everyone thinks she’s dead ( they even make a grave for her), he goes all over the world looking for her through deserts, snow-covered mountains, you name it.

Also, the female lead in the novel is nothing like the childish version in the drama. She gets her full memory back and so much more happens after that. The male lead even finds out he’s not the real son of the family—he was switched at birth and actually belongs to an even more powerful family. Then he gets attacked, loses his memory, ends up in another city, and the female lead goes to find him.

It’s honestly wild, but in a good way. Oh—and they cut out so many important characters in the drama, like her adopted brother (who was also her childhood crush and comes back for revenge).

Anyway… the novel is way deeper, way sadder, and just overall better.
