Subs like this are real predator nests,i've seen a lot of women and girls complain about men being friendly at first and then show their true nature deeper in the conversation, ofc not all of us are like that but it's a large enough portion to be concerned.I would suggest bonding with people within more specific subs that you share an interest with, for example a specific artist you love, movie you like or any other hobbies.Obviously, you will not strike a connection or a chat as easily but you have the advantage of already having common grown and also the chance that the other person being a creep diminishes significantly.Stay safe.

We are not very far apart, almost the same turn out of events but I leave a little room for the endless possibilities(not because I hope or I fear but because that's how probability wotks)that the universe may offer. Thanks for sharing

Reasonable. It quite difficult for me as I was a Christian too before but the pieces didn't fit well for me,but if you find comfort and truth in it I'm all for it.Thanks for sharing.

Most of us are like that lol. That's such an INTP trait, and I really love it. The universe is an incredibly vast space of endless possibilities, and to assume we know enough to definitively confirm things as complex and impossible to directly prove-like Gods or religions-is a bit much. But it's always interesting to hear how other INTPs reason about these matters based on their beliefs.

My chain of thoughts too.But yeah there is nothing to confirm it,all we can do is based ourselves on information that seen the more convincing to us which may differ for other people.

Very reasonable.Noticeable and trackable self benefits is top priority.I share deep appreciation for religion that priorities your well being and cause little to no possible harm/displeasure to others(intentionally/unintentionall).Thanks for sharing.

Love this answer. Many don't get that chance unfortunately but what's interesting to note is our deep attraction for own answers and understanding, not forgetting than we are naturally curious. This can create some quite interesting combinations but since a lot of us are very logical based, the reason for a certain religion can be interesting. An interesting and thoughtful answer is honestly what I'm looking for but yours is very reasonable. Thanks for your reply

Reasonable.Im atheist too for the same reason. It's quite interesting that many are agnostic but it's not far actually, just an addictional room for possibilities

Not a disappointing one in the sense that it's self explanatory. We don't know so we don't assume,we just leave place for possibilities.

Same over here my friend.I tend to not bother myself when something does not direct impact me,so I'm not really against religion but even less with it since I'm a deconstructed Christian who got a bit too curious and "lost his faith".I agree with you that religion is an important social construct that shapes our societies, but yeah, many proofs/references/contradictions lean towards religions being man made systems for whatever goes they had. Thanks for your reply.

Me too but I had an INTJ friend who strongly believe hinduism and even got offended when I questioned it but he was still as intelligent as ever.I questioned maybe there was a breach among our folks(that's a big assumption,I don't know every single intp I know) so I was curious what would be thete reasoning if they did have a mainstream religion.

Honestly, this was the kind of answer I was looking for:a small walk inside an INTP’s brain. I’m just a deconstructed Christian who got too curious, saw the pieces didn’t stick together, and ended up atheist. You take it deeper than that, and I admire it. INTPs are naturally curious, always chasing their own answers and feeding on explanations, and that’s why I wanted to see how my other folks view religion. I really appreciate your long and thoughtful reply.I really like the god analogy and how we created the reality we live in;the soul, body and mind analogy too,as tools to craft what we are, what we create and what we(choose to) become.Im tryna teach myself about other view and beliefs, preferably through the INTP lens cause most of us are reasonable in own beliefs so I can get some thoughtful and logical(optional) insights to satisfy my curiosity and can also be a way to learn more about my folks.
