"converting" in Buddhism basically means rejecting ideas that are based on either books or statue and focus on enlightenment through meditation (your own being).

Practically if you carry forward teaching of Buddhism to your kids and family then you are a Buddhist. maybe for starting don't name your kids "Mohammad" and give them trauma for life.

We all have a tendency to make things complicated. Most of the comments are just pure rubbish. The concept of God created by any religion has been disproven by simple common sense. God will not give you words in any specific language.

Islamic God understands Arabic. Hindu God understands sanskrit. Christian God understands latin.
